Splinters, sand, and scythe

16Jun08

Three deadly S’s that appear in this awesome new Best Buy-exclusive clip of Batman: Gotham Knight, the straight-to-dvd, anime-styled, six-part movie release that hits stores July 8. Now I really have no idea what’s going on, but it kicks ass. You can click above to watch/download the movie clip or see it below.

Did you see what happened starting at 1:04?! Ouch! Technically this could count as two S’s (the first and the last), but I’m focusing on what Batman does with that claw thing. Awesome!

Kevin Conroy’s voice as Batman is timeless. Seriously, his IS the voice of Batman.

Sand is at 2:07. It kind of made me laugh, which is somewhat cruel. πŸ˜€

The third lethal “S,” scythe, comes at 2:12. It’s been seen before, but it’s still wicked cool.

And the music is awesome, too. Man, I need this movie to be out now!

  1. I always have some Digg love for the Dark Knight, as always, RIP Heath!

HOLY COW, that move at 1:04 is bad-ass! This looks like big fun. I love Conroy, too, but since these are tied to the release of The Dark Knight, I wish they’d have gotten Bale to do it for this particular project. Oh, well. It’s going to be awesome.

  3. Bale would have been awesome as usual, but I’m psyched for Conroy. I have such nostalgia for his voice as Bats, and he does such an amazing job.

    July, July, where are you?

And it’s not even early July. 😦

    BUT!

I think it’ll be worth the wait. πŸ™‚

  5. Definitely.
