Chillin’ with the Intersect

Hellboy and Chuck Bartowski (from the fun tv show Chuck, that is) are hanging out together in two television advertisements. You can watch them on /Film.

In other news, Kevin Durand (who’s recently been on Lost as Martin Keamy), who plays Frederick J. Dukes/The Blob, talks about his part in the film in this interview—but only briefly.

It’s been pretty nice to get glimpses of Wolverine in the upcoming X-men Origins: Wolverine film through some cool promo shots (even though he basically looks the same as he did in the X-men movies, just more built) … but now it’s just getting old.

Like this pic from the new Empire magazine that I found on Superhero Hype! Uhh, I want to see more than Logan (played by Hugh Jackman) standing around looking bad ass. Where’s Gambit or Sabretooth? Hello?! Give us SOMEthing juicy!

Yeah, yeah, I know it’s early. But this is getting lame. Take a promotional shot of someone else already.

On another note, according to Superhero Hype! and three movie trailers are supposed to debut with The Dark Knight. The first is Zack Snyder’s Watchmen adaptation (based on the comic book), which is set to release March 6, 2009, starring Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie and Matt Frewer. The others are Terminator Salvation (which will star the one-and-only Christian Bale as John Connor)—which comes out May 22, 2009—and Body of Lies (October 10), which is filmed by Ridley Scott and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. Sounds cool!

Speaking of TDK, today I bought my ticket for the 12:30 showing on the 18th. YES! Anyway, thanks to John for showing me this hilarious article: Michael Bay’s rejected The Dark Knight script. ;D

And Batman-On-Film has an interview with the gorgeous Ana Ortiz (ABC’s Ugly Betty star), who does the voice of Anna Ramirez in Batman: Gotham Knight. The interview has some cool stills mixed in, too—like the one below. The straight-to-dvd movie came out today.

Finally, there’s a great article here about director Christopher Nolan and The Dark Knight. While there are no dramatic spoilers in the article, there are some slight ones.
