Would the real Batman please stand up?

If you haven’t checked out Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of the Dark Knight on the History Channel yet, definitely do so. It will be replaying on Monday, July 21 at 10:00 pm and Tuesday, July 22 at 2:00 am. Check your local listings for the right times though, of course.

My good friend Kate taped it for me, and it was really interesting. It’s an hour-long and a documentary-esque type feature that accurately analyzes the character and psychology (obviously) of Batman and Bruce Wayne—as well as his villains—through both comics and the two movies, showing clips from each. Plus, it makes parallels between the characters and actual historical individuals. Pretty awesome.

UPDATE: By the way, the History Channel will also be showing Batman Tech—a close look at Batman’s gadgets and Batcave technology—again on July 21 at 9:00 pm and July 22 at 2:00 am (double check your local listings). I haven’t watched it, but I’m hoping my friend can tape it for me. I’m sure it’s good.

  1. 1 Mike

Sounds killer, I love stuff like this. I’m going to check it out and DVR it. TDK was ridiculously good, however, the Marvelite in me HAS to say that Iron Man was a bit better. Not a lot, just… better.

  2. By the way, there’s another feature they’re doing called “Batman Tech.” I’ll edit some info about it into the post. 🙂

Ohhh, ouch, haha! I think Iron Man was more fun, in the fact that it was just so light-hearted, and TDK is so dark … But I dunno. ;D I need to see this movie at least one more time to get a better feel for it.
