Where in the world is Batman San Diego?

Damn, Dustin Nguyen’s art is so awesome! I am SO getting this hardcover beauty of the Detective storyline “Heart of Hush” when it comes out.

And speaking of awesome, the word on the street is that a new special edition dvd and blu-ray release of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is being considered. I’d buy it, Warner Home Video! Come on!

Goodbye Grant Morrison, hello Denny O’Neil! O’Neil will present a two-part story after “RIP” in Detective Comics #851 and Batman #684 that explores a Gotham City without Batman. Wait, what? What is Grant doing, ahhh! Okay, this makes me sad. But hey, it’s O’Neil with art by—dun, dun, DUN—the amazing Guillem March, the guy who provided the art on the gorgeous Joker’s Asylum: Poison Ivy. (I reviewed that for ComicNerd awhile back, and if I wasn’t dead tired I’d dig up the link. Oh, look what I do for you guys. Thank you, Google.) I really, really loved his art on that issue—it was breathtaking.

O’Neil’s story (called “Last Days of Gotham”) will precede January’s “Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?” story by Neil Gaiman and Andy Kubert. Sweet!

More fun stuff (brought to you by DeviantART’s TheMonkeyYOUWant)! Hehe.

Wow, did you guys hear about this? Besides that fiasco, All Star Batman & Robin #10 wasn’t so bad—pretty interesting, actually. I think it was setting up a lot (being the first issue in Volume Two, that’s a good thing), so I’m pretty excited. Okay, well, my fingers are crossed, anyway. But hey, who knows when the next issue will come out. Damn.

At any rate, the art (by Jim Lee) was ridiculously amazing. Hehehe.

Full character line-up for Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (gotta get that PS3, gotta get that PS3)! Huh, that’s it? I bet there will be some unlockables they’re not revealing … Anyway, here’s the DC character list: Batman, Catwoman, Darkseid, Deathstroke, Flash, Green Lantern, Joker, Lex Luthor, Shazam, Superman, Wonder Woman. Nice! It would be nicer to be able to play as some other Bat-characters, too, though, but … ah well. ;D

Okay, The Dark Knight might not be front page news anymore, but John Bierly found this page of awesome photos. Check it out! Here are just a few.
